One of my favourite things in this week’s edit of stylish baby & kidswear is these new DAPHNE, KIT & DOTTIE sandals from Other Kids. Other Kids is a very cool kids shoe shop in Leigh on Sea (also online) and the lady behind it, Gemma, is also a pro shoe fitter. She’s put her skills to good use to create the perfect kids leather sandals. They’re beautiful, simple, good for little feet and just everything you (or I) want in a sandal. And they come in great colours.
Other highlights today include the launch of the latest Organic Zoo collection for babies & toddlers. Effortlessly cool for every day, super soft, just the best quality. And THIS embroidered summer romper from a small brand I love, Esther Kids. I’ve been waiting for this to land forever so I can include.
Faune also launched their latest collection of girls + women’s day-to-nightwear Monday which always includes the most beautiful, dreamy, vintage style slip on/off dresses. Easy, effortless, idyllic summer dressing. They make me want to take the kids to a forest in France and waft around all day picking flowers and reading poetry…
One last thing… I first started The Little Stylist whilst pregnant with my second child – back then I included way more baby product content. I love baby gear. I think I’ll always be broody. But as my kids have got a little older (not that old, I mean my youngest just turned three so we’re still firmly in pram territory) I feature less and focus more on the stylish baby & kidswear.
But I’m still well into baby products and, well, anything that makes parents lives easier BUT is also aesthetically pleasing – I love that William Morris quote “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” So, from next week I’ll be putting out a monthly baby edit of new, amazing, lovely, practical must haves. The pieces you need to know about. That also look good. For modern parents. To make new parenthood easier. And prettier.
