Are we now at the stage where we’ve skipped summer?
New autumn collections are landing, which I love. Everything starts to feel fresh, new and exciting. Best new bits so far included below. I adore the Aztec style print pieces (the fleece, the trousers) and actually everything new in from The New Society on MyTheresa. Some of the new Stella McCartney Kids pieces are cool too. I sometimes love Stella McCartney Kids but sometimes find it a bit too crazy – great in an editorial photoshoot. Not always so great for my preferred more muted tonal colour palette at ‘The Little Stylist‘.
That said I challenge anyone to tell me you must dress kids in primary colours and the like for them to have fun. Evidence below. Kitten print jeans, gelato embroidered pink denim baseball caps, bold stripes. So. Much. Fun. In an aesthetically pleasing presentation. You’re welcome…
On another note, how cute is this baby? From Garbo & Friends who have so many lovely pieces still available in their sale. I haven’t posted a baby pic in a while and after styling several baby shoots over the last few weeks I’m feeling even more broody than usual. Probably also to do with reading about Mother Pukka being pregnant again at 42 – I’m 41 – I’d be lying if I said it hadn’t made me briefly consider if I could go for a fourth. Final decision, no. I couldn’t. But the thought flashed through my mind. So, I’ll settle for this cute pic and styling some pretty baby looks soon instead. Maybe I should buy myself a doll?

Finally, top secret. So don’t really know why I’m writing it here apart from the fact I assume people just scroll past to get to the shopping anyway and I guess it’ll test that theory… but I have some news coming soon. Its baby related. It’s work related. But I’m definitely NOT having a baby.
